Volkl is expanding the popular Blaze line with the Blaze 114.

The 2024 Volkl Blaze 114 will delight experienced powder fans who value an agile ski for descents in deep snow, Volkl also places a strong emphasis on sustainability, including a recycled base, fully FSC certified wood and the new Green Core technology. The new Blaze 114 model meets the highest expectations: distinctively wide for the perfect float in deep snow, dynamic enough for occasional turns on groomed runs and so light that you can easily handle an ascent.

Thanks to the efficient weight performance ratio, the perfect choice for experienced outdoor enthusiasts as an all-around ski for a variety of adventures. Like all other models in the Blaze line, the Blaze 114 also features the 3D Radius Sidecut. The narrower radius in the mid-body of the ski enables unprecedented manoeuvrability in a ski of this type and guarantees enjoyment at any turn radius and any speed. At the same time, the open radius at the tip and tail of the ski, combined with the Tip&Tail Rocker, ensures enormous reliability in any type of snow even at top speeds and allows effortless longer radius turns on and off-piste.

Another distinguishing feature of the new model is the fact that the flex strength increases with the length of the skis, enabling them to meet the needs of larger, heavier skiers. To enable the appropriate manoeuvrability and reliability, titanal is only built into the Blaze in the binding area in the form of a 0.3 mm thin titanal sheet, which supports direct power transmission and rapid pressure build-up when skiers switch edges. This makes it possible for the skis to respond precisely during turn initiation. To achieve the desired agility and flexibility, titanal is not used in the front and rear parts of the ski. Moreover, the Blaze 114 features an impressively wide tip profile that optimizes float in deep snow.
